This week I had to share the brand new video for “Saturnz Barz”, the debut single from Gorillaz upcoming fourth album “Humanz”. Gorillaz return to their horror and hip hop roots with this newest video that features Jamaican singer/songwriter Popcaan. This video highlights a haunted ordeal as the members of the Gorillaz are terrorized by various monsters, spirits, and visions in their new derelict house in Detroit. It’s good to see our old animated friends again and this new song hints at the Gorillaz commitment for continuous musical experimentation as they blend this atmospheric instrumental with hip hop and reggae flavors.
