When a 17th century New England family is banished from their Puritan plantation, they settle a farm on the edge of a secluded forest. Amongst the deer and the rabbits living in the woods, perhaps something more sinister lurks. As the family struggles to overcome the challenges of their new living situation, questions of purity and salvation begin to drive the family apart.
